Love & Hip Hop Reality Star and Atlanta Rap Artist Waka Flocka Flame Said That The Coronavirus Is Fake And He think Minorities can't catch it

Flocka was on Los Angeles' Real 92.3 radio station to talk about his career and promote his new Reality Show "What the Flocka." During the midst of Waka's interview, the host J Cruz asked Waka about his thoughts on the coronavirus and whether he was concerned. According to BET journalist said, that Waka responded that he doesn't believe the coronavirus is real. "It's fake. Man, I do not , we straight," he said at (11:55) on the YouTube video. J Cruz asked Waka to said it one more time-he repeated on (11:57) that minority can't cache. J. Cruz reiterated what Waka said in disbelief; "minority can't catch the coronavirus." Waka said "no." J. Cruz asked Waka, "Why do you say, Why do you believe?" "Waka said, name one."

Waka received a lot of backlashes from his statement. The internet is now facepalming at Waka Flocka’s comments. Many chimed in to remind everyone of the two recent cases where the Utah Jazz players were recently confirmed to have contracted the coronavirus. As the criticism continued to roll in, Waka Flocka later took to his Instagram with a question.

“When did I say that minorities can’t catch the coronavirus?” he wrote. I guess Waka did not listen to what he said, but if you go to the YouTube video and rewind it 11:55 seconds, there is where you can hear his remark and the full interview.

Be as it may, I do understand why Waka made the comment he did. Based on an article from BurstingBrainmedi stated that "Scientists are still confused as to why Coronavirus is not killing Africans like it is killing people in many European countries and other countries in the world ." Coronavirus is not killing Africans, even despite the fact that WHO has declared the virus as an outbreak…And so, the European scientists are seriously marveled and confused as to why Coronavirus (COVID-19) is not viral in Africa. So everyone, if you are going to attack Waka on his comment, you should do the same with the Scientists who have put out the report on the internet.

I can grasp the complexity of the information being put out by the sciences, even though they said African, not Afro-Americans. One may think that the Sciences are including Afro-Americans in the statistic. Considering some people do intertwine the two due to the long history that was written in the textbooks.
