Noneillah At New Jersey Nation's Largest Women's Expo 2022

Noneillah's Vending Experience At New Jersey Nation's Largest Women's Expo 2022

My experience at the New Jersey Women's Expo was not pleasant. When I initially registered in July 2022, I paid a lot of money to be their Seminar Speaker featuring a fashion show, and vendor. As we got close to the event date, they hit me with hidden added costs for electricity, Wi-Fi, and other astronomical fees on the first week of October. Then three days before the event on October 29th, I was hit with more fees for audio and screen to play my video. I think that Jan from the Expo should have told me it would have been other fees back in July. The representative knew my financial plight but she mislead me. There was a Lady vendor across from me who paid $5, 000 I shared her frustration about she sold nothing and that there were not a lot of prospected buyers. There were other vendors who said to me that the Women's Expo did not advertise the event correctly to generate a host of buyers.
I have spoken to a few local newspapers, and they said they knew nothing about the event because of poor advertising of the event, and some vendors lost a lot of money. I guess the Women's Expo relied on celebrities and vendors to promote the event on its social media platform. It was a bust. I think the expo should give an apology incentive to New Jersey Women's Expo vendors a percentage off or a free spot for their 2023 New Jersey Women's Expo. I'm so surprised by the poor outcome of people who had attended considering 30 years in the business. I guess the Expo's concern was to generate enough money to pay their celebrity guest Keynotes Speaker. While some vendors lose out. The vendor package stated at $995 for standard, corner vending spot estimate was $3, 000 and the double spot was around $5, 800 and to be a Keynote Speaker or do a fashion show is $400. Once you pay for the Women's Expo you, then have to pay New Jersey Convention Center an astronomical fee for electricity in your booth, extra chairs, extra table, Wi-Fi, and more. After you pay those costs mentioned previously, you then have to pay $150 for the wall stream to pay for the video and add audio to a sound company. With this event, pay for three separate companies. The sad part about this situation it is not told to a first-time vendor.

It is hard to pay for this event on a disability monthly income in a lump sum when it is thrown at you at the last moment. Because of the poor service, I asked to speak to a manager and my money back. Sadly to say, a manager never returned my email.

Noneillah was a vendor at the Women's Expo on October 29th-30th.
There were more vendors than buyers.

Noneillah became a vendor to sell items to raise money for the Deshon Johnson College Scholarship for Kean University Deshon Johnson Memorial Scholarship. Sadly to say, we spend more money to be a part of the event and sold little to nothing to raise money. There was a buyer who came to look for a bargain. Unfortunately, the expo did not advertise correctly to get a certain crowd of buyers who want to spend money. The event was a huge disappointment, and it was not with my investment. I did not get big bagging for my bucks. It was a misleading participation.
