Famous and well know Hollywood Director of "Boyz n the Hood" and "2 Fast Furious"John Singleton transition at the age of 51 from a stroke. Mr. Singleton was in a coma since suffering a stroke on April 17, he passes away on Monday. The statement was given by his family to CNN news. At the age of 24, Singleton became the youngest person to receive an Oscar in 1992 for best director for "Boyz n the Hood. The movie was based on his life story growing up in a destitute Afro-American community in South Central Los Angeles. Mr. Singleton will be truly missed.
