New Casting Call for Empire TV Show in Chicago -Empire Season 4 Trailer (HD)
New Casting Call for Empire TV Show in Chicago
“Empire” is filming new episodes for season 4 this month and there is a new casting call for Chicagoland locals who would like to be cast as extras / featured extras on the show.
“Empire” returned to production this past summer in Chicago and the show’s extras casting directors at Chicago’s 4 Star casting are ONLY interested in talent that lives in and around the Chicago area.
Lee Daniels’ edgy, hip hop music oriented drama is back. “Empire” has returned to production in Chicago and is currently only interested in talent that is local to the Chicago area. Production on the show began in July and “Empire” will continue filming in the area through the spring of of 2019.
The series stars Terrence Howard, Taraji P. Henson and Gabourey Sidibe. ”Empire” focuses on self made music mogul Lucious Lyon, played by Terrence Howard, his music label, Empire Entertainment and the family drama over who gets to control the company.
“Empire” premiered on January 7th 2015 – Hip-hop artist and CEO of Empire Entertainment, Lucious Lyon, has always ruled unchallenged, but a medical diagnosis predicts he will be incapacitated in three years, which prompts the sharks to circle. Without further damaging his family, he must decide which of his three sons will take over. His favorite, young Hakeem, is a gifted musician but values fame over hard work. Middle son, Jamal, is talented and shy but gay — embarrassing to Lyon. The oldest, Andre, is business-minded but lacks charisma. The reappearance of Cookie, his ex-wife, complicates things; she says he owes her for taking the fall for the drug-running that financed his early career. – IMDB

FOX’s Star comes from the man behind FOX’s other popular music drama, Empire, Academy Award-nominated Lee Daniels (Empire, Precious, Lee Daniels The Butler). The series is a rags to riches story of three young women with dreams of stardom. Star focuses on three girls trying to break into the music industry by forming a girl group. The sisters hook up with the wealthy daughter of a well known singer, Alexandra Crane, played by Ryan Destiny, to form their girl group. Lenny Kravitz plays Alexandra’s father. The girls move to Atlanta, Georgia and move in with Queen Latifah’s character, Carlotta Brown , who helps them go after their dreams.

“GUTTA RAP (THROW IT UP)” // [AUDIO]
CENTRIC • LIL FAME • ROCK • JOSHUA GUNN • LISTEN: SOUNDCLOUD
Mumble rap... *mumbles* what the f**k is that? Adidon these cons that means there's no coming back." — Joshua Gunn
M.O.P. meets Heltah Skeltah. "Gutta Rap" is the epitome of undiluted, unadulterated Hip-Hop music. Oakland, CA producer Centric links up with Lil' Fame [M.O.P.], Rock [Heltah Skeltah] and the self-proclaimed 'best rapper you never heard' Joshua Gunn [NC]: scratches courtesy of DJ Flipflop [CunninLynguists]. With so much new music being released on a daily basis its difficult to know what's worth your time but when you see those underground Hip-Hop legend’s names you know exactly what to expect, back-to-back bars over some A+ production. This song isn't part of any particular project (yet!) just a stray bullet in preparation for Grand Opus [Joc Scholar & Centric] sophomore LP "High Power." #guttarap #centric #lilfame #heltahskeltah #joshuagunn
