Born March 5, 1990, in Newark New Jersey by the name Deshon, but he grew up in a small working-class community outside of Verona, NJ by a single parent household…with his mother; who is a former public school teacher.
Even though Sean did not have his father present in his life to teach him the elements of manhood…he was fortunate to have positive male role models that step in to guide him along his upbringing on how to be a man. These male figures who had mold and shape him to be a man were his uncles, older male cousins, and male family friend.
This talented musical artist Deshon, better knew by his stage name Sean Cos Mason aka Sean M or Cos; which people in his community called him. Sean came from wide-ranging musical backgrounds that consist of not only hip hop but opera, rock, jazz, R&B and other musical elements that make up his artistic pallets.
Sean is a rap artist, musical entrepreneur and the founder of Noneillah LLC/Nonillaah. Along with being an independent hip-hop rock artist, Christian rap artist, R&B rap artist, classical hip-hop artist, and club hip-hop artist. His music is direct, punchy and energetic, with a charismatic flow that reminds of the greats of the genre, including Jay Z, Nas, Kanye West or J Cole, just to name a few. Sean is always looking to make a positive impact in the lives of people around him; he chose to live a giving and rewarding life: when not busy making music, attending college or take care of his disabled mother, he had volunteered at a homeless shelter for the holidays. Sean has become a fan favorite encapsulating styles similar to Eminem and Bone Thugs and Harmony. Sean looks to inspire, uplift and motivate those around him to greatness aspire.

Moreover, Sean feels that he differ from other artists because he takes his time with his music. Unlike other upcoming artists who put out music that has no meaning or story behind it. Sean believed that some of these forthcoming artists put out music to have people turn up at parties which are okay but he feels that music should also have substance. Sean tells a story from his past in every song that he put out so that people can relate to his music and also so that people of all different ages, races, and backgrounds can enjoy it.
